Arts Week 2013 Overview: A nibble of what the events looked like last year!
Attention Denver: this weekend kicks off Denver Arts Week which runs from November 7 - 15. Grab the kids, rally your friends and head for one of the many art neighborhoods to celebrate Denver's rich and varied art scene. Spend time getting to know those corners of the art world you've been meaning to experience! The Museums are FREE on Saturday night - that should be reason enough! (Mark Mothersbaugh: Myopia at the MCA for FREE - heck yeah!) More info about specific events and details on shuttles and when+where to be can be found on Visit Denver's website: click here. AND if you need a primer about how the week goes down before you step out in your best art appreciating spectacles, check out the trio of videos we made highlighting last year's events:
#1 Know Your Arts First Friday: Explore Denver’s creative neighborhoods and find local art for as low as $52.80 at many participating galleries! Highlights include Art District on Santa Fe, Golden Triangle Museum District, RiNo (River North Art District), and Tennyson Street Cultural District.
#2 Free Night at the Museums: Denver's best museums are open late and admission is FREE between 5 and 10 p.m. FREE shuttles make it easy to explore all evening!
