Looking for a fun date night out with your honey or a unique way to pop the question - why not a pop-up dinner? Pop up dinners are usually held in unusual locations (think industrial warehouses or behind secret alley doors), curated by top chefs looking to experiment, and are kept small and intimate to keep the exclusive vibe in check. Our very own Denver is lucky to be hosting a video art installation pop up dining experience - Monkey Town 4. The Mile High city is Monkey Town's first stop of an international tour and the first time it's been shared outside of New York. 4 giant screens surround the dining room cube in an intimate setting of about 30 people. You are served a 3 or 5 course meal (depending on when you book) complete with wine pairings for each course, while images and sounds envelop you from all sides. And to ensure you fill up on the sensory supper, each evening includes a live performance. When we visited on a Wednesday evening we were serenaded by the talented Opera On Tap - in-your-face soprano action! Check out the website for more info on the programming but, hurry, the experience only runs until June 1st.
