As we enter our tenth wedding season (yippee! oh, wait, does that date us too much? ha!) of filming weddings across our home state of Colorado, we'd like to take a blog moment to reflect on our favorite Colorado wedding venues. There are many gorgeous settings & unique spaces we most likely would have never seen if not for our job and it is a big perk of being a part of someone's special occasion: traveling to new places and soaking in the scenery! Although it was tough to narrow it down, we decided "Top Five Colorado Wedding Venues" had a nice ring to it so we stuck with a list of five (uh, kind of). So, here are our Fave Five Colorado Wedding Venues, in no particular order, accompanied by a recent wedding video to show ya why we're happy to herald each spot...
Blanc - Denver Wedding Venue
Why we love it: in the city, versatility of space, industrial urban feel
Cherokee Castle - Sedalia Wedding Venue
Why we love it: spectacular panoramic view from it's perch, uh - it's a freakin' stone castle
Golden Ledge - Telluride Wedding Venue
Why we love it: breathtaking views, magical aspen groves, remote - it takes good imagination to pull off a wedding here because there is no structure so everything has to be built on site!
Spruce Mountain Ranch - Larkspur Wedding Venue
Why we love it: a variety of ceremony locations, outdoor dance floor, fireplaces
Broadmoor - Colorado Springs, CO
Why we love it: romantic ballrooms, beautiful lake & grounds, classic feel
Okay, we're cheating...here's one more...
Manor House - Littleton Wedding Venue
Why we love it: historic mansion, the porch!, wall to wall windows of the reception hall
Video Missing! It's been years since we've filmed at Manor House so we don't even have a wedding example online but we are looking forward to returning to film a wedding there this July!! Stay tuned.
